Material – MDF Wood or Acrylic
These drawer separators are made from 3 mm Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF), precisely cut using a laser cutter for clean edges and accurate fitting. MDF is an engineered wood product made from compressed wood fibers, sawdust, and small wood particles bonded together with resin under heat and pressure. This creates a smooth, dense, and stable material that is ideal for precision-cut designs.
If preferred, the separators can also be produced using acrylic, which provides a more modern, transparent appearance while maintaining durability and precision.
Eco-Friendly Aspects (MDF Option)
MDF is considered a relatively eco-conscious material because it reuses wood byproducts that would otherwise go to waste. Instead of requiring large pieces of solid timber, MDF repurposes leftover wood fibers from other manufacturing processes. Additionally, laser cutting allows for very efficient material usage, minimizing waste during production.
